Ballistics Chronograph - Bullet Speed Calculator.
Serious hand loading enthusists who like to determine the velocities of their homemade ammunition are hampered by the relatively high cost of buying a chronograph or sending sample cartridges to a private testing laboratory.
A reasonably accurate ballistic chronograph is easier to make than most people think.
A rotating drum ( of known speed ) of paper through which the fired projectile passes and the formula for determining that velocity is all that is needed. These plans provide the method for both.
Two pages ( 2 sheets - front on each sheet )
B & W photos, illustrations, expanded views, and instructional narrative.
My plans are from original source materials such as books, magazines and other publications and the pages are carefully removed.
