Band Grinder.
Anyone who can screw pipe fittings together can build this versatile workshop tool in a couple of evenings. It not only performs the normal functions of a belt sander, such as deburring, and sanding inside curves; it's the neatest sharpener you ever used to put a quick edge on knives, scissors, circular saw blades, twist drills or lathe tool bits.
