12 String Aeolian Harp / Window Harp.
The aeolian harp works on the principle that was familiar as far back as biblical times.
Basically, the harp consists of a long narrow sound box over which a dozen nylon guitar strings are stretched - 4 G's, 4 B's and 4 E's. A cover is over the sound box. The strings are tuned to low G on the musical scale.
Place the harp on the window's sill, resting the bottom of the window on the sound box cover to keep it in place and let the gentle breezes play the tunes.
The sound box can be constructed to any width to accomodate a window sill.
Two pages ( 2 sheets - front on each sheet ) B & W photos, illustrations, expanded views, materials/parts list and instructional narrative.
My plans are from original source materials such as books, magazines and other publications and the pages are carefully removed.
