Old-time Porch Swing.
If you own a porch you can suspend the swing from stout hardware anchored in the porch rafters or joists.
If you do not have a porch you can still enjoy this swing because a sturdy A-frame is part of the design details. The A-frame allows you to set up your swing in a garden, on a patio, or anywhere in your yard the family gets togther.
The seat section is made of oak and the A-frame is made of construction-grade 2 x 4 and 2 x 6 lumber.
