Grandfather / Hall Clock.
Though the clock case that is pictured in these plans is sometimes called a three-quarted case, it is more commonly known as ' Grandmother ' sized.
This version is 17 3/8 in wide and about 77 inches high overall.
Essentially, the design is based on three box-shaped compartments that are stacked one upon the other. The parts are built using simple construction techniques. Even the bracket feet, although appearing to be difficult to make, are not with this design.
